This project, supported by the Erasmus+ Programme under the KA220-ADU – Cooperation partnerships in adult education action1, is a collaborative initiative involving four European organizations from Italy, Romania, and Poland.
This 30-month project, running from 01/12/2024 to 31/05/2027, aims to promote experiential learning among adults, focusing on the development of transversal skills through travel-focused activities and innovative educational methods. TRIP seeks to enhance active participation, cultural awareness, lifelong learning, and active European citizenship.
Firstly, it directly addresses the growing need for adults to acquire transversal skills such as communication and problem-solving, which are crucial for both personal and professional life.
Secondly, the project emphasizes experiential learning, a methodology proven to be effective in promoting deeper understanding and retention of knowledge, as well as fostering autonomy and self-confidence.
Furthermore, it actively seeks to include disadvantaged groups, promoting social inclusion and active citizenship in line with Erasmus+ priorities.
Finally, by fostering cooperation among European organizations and focusing on cultural exchange, the project contributes to a stronger sense of European belonging and the sharing of best practices in adult education.
The TRIP project aims to enhance experiential learning and the active participation of adults, developing crucial skills like communication and problem-solving. Specific objectives include increasing cultural awareness, promoting lifelong learning, strengthening active and European citizenship, and creating robust cooperation networks.
Project activities include the creation of an online soft skills development course, travel-focused experiential learning activities, training sessions for educators, the development of a digital learning platform, and the organization of virtual workshops. These initiatives are designed to improve soft skills, cultural and environmental awareness, and the sense of European citizenship.
The project anticipates the creation of innovative educational modules and tools, improved educator skills in experiential learning, and the promotion of active engagement and skill development among adults. It also hopes for the establishment of sustainable partnerships and networks, contributing to long-term personal growth and community involvement.
